Eva Garcia Ruiz

Postdoc Eva Ruiz works at the University of Illinois’ Institute for Genomic Biology as a Research Associate. She received her B.S. in Biology from Universidad de Alcala de Henares in Spain, and went on to receive her M.S. and Ph.D. from the Universidad Compultense de Madrid. Prior to coming to Illinois, she gained extensive research experience from several fellowships and internships.

Ruiz is building multi-trait constructs through DNA assembler methodology for the PETROSS project.

The PETROSS project is funded by ARPA-E (Advanced Research Projects Agency—Energy) within the U.S. Department of Energy.
