Nikhil Jaikumar

Nikhil Jaikumar is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute for Genomic Biology at the University of Illinois. He received his B.A. and M.S. in Biology from Harvard University, and went on to earn his Ph.D. at Michigan State University. Following his graduation, Jaikumar went on to work for the United States Peace Corps. 

Nikhil’s research for PETROSS focuses on improving the photosynthetic rates in sugarcane and sorghum.
